Following a cell call from 9w2LOO (Lo Chee Hin), we received news that his beloved daughter passed away this afternoon (26 April) at Selayang Hospital, 8 days after the liver transplant.
SHC hams and all Segamat hams express our heartfelt condolences to 9w2LOO and his family. 9w2LOO is still recuperating following the liver transplant.
 At approximately 2030hrs we received info that the late LO YOKE PENG will arrive at 2300hrs and will be laid at Chen Kong Temple, Jalan Muar, Segamat where funerals rites and prayers will be held. Funeral will be held on Saturday 28 April 2007.
The picture you see is the last picture taken by her using her father’s cell phone without him knowing. 9w2LOO only realized it after the transplant. Complications set in 2 days after the transplant and slowly her brain cease to function.
Prior to the surgery she did mention to her father and mother that she would want her teachers to visit her after her surgery.
On hearing that she was getting weaker, a group of teachers from SJK (C) Jementah rushed to Selayang Hospital. As soon as her last teacher saw her, LO YOKE PENG breathed her last breath.
This news came as a shock to us as we have been following closely on the progress of the late LO YOKE PENG’s condition.
